Specifications include, but are not limited to: All-inclusive billing with ESO patient care software (a) The successful bidder must inter-face with the local hospital to exchange billing information without additional fees. (b) The successful bidder must manage and produce all needed reports for Medicaid Assessment Fees per mandates prescribed in Kentucky Revised Statutes. (c) The successful bidder must manage and produce all needed reports for Medicare Ground Ambulance Data Collection System. (d) Must maintain an online portal with access to monitor monthly EMS billing collections. (e) Must maintain inter-face with a third-party collection agency. This partnership must include the sharing of needed information without the direct involvement of City of Hopkinsville staff, i.e., processing and forwarding mail and requesting information. (f) Must maintain and facilitate Medicare Compliance information with our third-party vendor. (g) Annual EMS Documentation Training. Hopkinsville Fire and EMS completes approximately 11,500 ambulance runs per year. About 10,000 of the ambulance runs are billable.
