Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor must be responsible to provide the City with the following: 1. Analytical services specific to the analysis of bulk and single sampling for asbestos containing materials. a. Analysis of bulk samples that include all layers. b. Analysis by: i. Phase contrast microscopy (PCM) ii. Polarized light microscopy (PLM) iii. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) 2. Sampling and Shipping Supplies a. Resealable plastic bags for sampling that are, at minimum, 4.0 mil thick and in the following, or similar, sizes: i. 5” x 8” ii. 8” x 10” b. Pre-paid shipping labels and shipping supplies for all necessary lab samples from lab/testing company designated shipping company.
