Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall serve as either the primary or secondary contractor for one or more of the following law enforcement public safety gear and supplies categories if accepted and specified in the Notice of Award issued by the Division of Purchasing. The state agency shall contact the primary contractor first for needs in a specific category. In the event the primary contractor is unable to provide the services needed, the secondary contractor shall be used to fulfill the needs of the state agency in a specific category. Category 1 - Apparel, Outerwear - Uniforms, Uniform Accessories and Footwear. Category 2 - Duty Gear – Belts, Gun Holsters, etc. Category 3 - Duty Tools - Batons, Flashlights, and Other Equipment/Gear/Supplies. Category 4 - First Responder and Emergency Medical Gear/Supplies – Gas Mask, Respiration Equipment, First Aid Kits, Fire Extinguishers, etc. (Excludes Automated External Defibrillators). Category 5 - Rescue Gear/Supplies - Water Rescue Dry Suit, Dry Hood, Dive Knife, etc. Category 6 - Restraint Gear – Handcuffs, Disposable Restraints, Leg Iron Restraints, etc. Category 7 - SWAT Team Gear/Supplies - Helmets, Ballistic Vests, Shields, etc. Category 8 - Police Vehicle Equipment and Accessories - Cages, Push Bumpers, Gun Racks, Consoles, etc. (Excludes LED Lights Bars, Sirens, Warning Lights)...
