The principal items or elements of construction include: 1. Full installation of container guide tracks for two (2) municipal solid waste (MSW) sheds including demolition of existing tracks, new structural steel tracks, cementitious grout, and track appurtenances. 2. Refurbishment and maintenance of concrete on existing container guide tracks for one (1) MSW shed, including fill in of abandoned track area. 3. Installation of pre-engineered trench drains and catch basins. 4. Electric service is not available at the MSW sheds. MSW sheds have limited access to water connections. 5. MSW sheds can only be closed for nine (9) working days at a time and work must be limited to one (1) shed at a time. 6. Removal of MSW containers from the MSW sheds must be coordinated with the County’s contracted MSW hauler prior to beginning work.
