Specifications include, but are not limited to: - Provide hourly rate(s) for a crane rental (8-hour minimum day) for up to a 150 ton capacity. - Provide hourly overtime rate for crane rental (greater than an 8-hour day of work). - Provide costs for mats, complete and in-place. - Provide costs for required permits. - Provide hourly rates for riggers/operators/laborers. - Provide an hourly overtime rate for riggers/operators/laborers. (greater than an 8-hour day of work). - Provide a daily rate for crew truck/vehicles. - Provide a daily rate for straight truck/vehicles. - Provide costs for counterweights. Specifications for Outlined Services: - Work performed shall include but limited to the placement of bridge sections of various weights up to 32 feet in length and 28,000 pounds per section. Other may include lifting and placement of heavy metals and concrete sections as each individual site may be required. - Lifting and hoisting shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of ASME B30 Series, SASME P30 and 29 CFR 1926 subpart CC including the responsibilities defined therein. - Site specific training and/or site orientation shall be billed at stated hourly rates. - If the load cannot remain in constant full view of the equipment operator, a Qualified Signal Person will be provided upon the request of the Vendor. - All equipment shall be lifted into place utilizing existing rigging attachment points. If attachment points are unavailable or unusable, the Vendor shall provide assistance in determining alternate methods for such lifting and placement. Crane Services for Blount County Government Blount County, TN Bid 2024-0139 Scope of Work Page 2 of 2 - Blount County Highway Department (BCHD) shall provide access to the work site with sufficient area(s) for assembly and operation of equipment as required by the Vendor perform each outlined service. Further, BCHD shall provide suitable ground conditions for the associated equipment. - The Vendor shall be held liable for all equipment at the worksite. All equipment shall be in safe and good working condition. Any onsite equipment shall not be permitted to leak any fluids and/or hazardous materials. - Delays due to inclement weather and additional inspections shall be considered extra work and may be invoiced at the determined hourly rate. - The Vendor shall provide and maintain proof of Commercial Insurance for the entire Contract period. The Vendor shall maintain commercial insurance coverage as outlined by Blount County Risk Management. - The Vendor shall provide all necessary permits that each site/project may require. - Liquidated and Consequential Damages will not be imposed in this Contract.
