Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Civil Service Commission and its staff desire to restructure its pay plan and compensation philosophy in order to facilitate the City of New Orleans’ Municipal Government and the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans’ efforts to attract and retain qualified classified employees. Respondents should propose a strategy for (a) restructuring the overall classification and compensation system in line with industry best practices, and (b) benchmarking municipal compensation to ensure that pay is internally equitable and externally competitive. All recommendations produced by the respondent must adhere to the Uniform Pay requirements of Article X of the Louisiana Constitution.
