Assist the Department of Military Affairs (DMA) in the design and project oversight of an Automated Multipurpose Machine Gun (MPMG) Range at the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center (WHFRTC) in Greenville, Kentucky. This project permanently constructs a Multi-Purpose Machine Gun Range (MPMG) with five (5) crew served weapons lanes, roadways, control tower, all utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, military vehicle parking areas and site improvements. Facility designs will consider energy management control systems for occupied spaces, sustainability/energy measures will be provided with consideration of incorporation of alternative and renewable energy/heating sources. Project site shall be designed and constructed using sustainable strategies to meet or exceed the published Army Energy Management regulations outlined by the Department of the Army and Army National Guard Bureau. This project will be designed to meet all local, state, and federal building codes and be designed for a (minimum) 50-year facility life possessing energy efficiencies meeting, on average, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and AirConditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 189.1 standards. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided (where necessary). This range and its supporting facilities will sit inside the perimeter of the Training Site and will comply with minimum Antiterrorism Measures. This project will comply with the Army 1 SQFT for 1 SQFT disposal policy through the disposal of 1,600 SQFT.
