Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Agency seeks a Proposer to provide fully enclosed trash receptacles designed to eliminate trash overflow, hide unsightly trash, controls pests and reduces litter. The Agency is seeking proposals to purchase eight (8) 32-gallon high-capacity solar compacting waste receptacles and seven (7) 32-gallon high-capacity non-compacting waste receptacle, both with remote monitoring software platform. These units will be installed outdoors in strategic locations in the Downtown Urban Renewal Area. The Agency will initially purchase a minimum of three (3) compaction and three (3) noncompaction solar powered receptacles and have the option to purchase up to five (5) additional solar powered compacting trash receptacles and four (4) noncompacting. Each of the solar trash compactors will have a capacity of 32 gallons of compacted garbage, typically equivalent to 160 gallons of uncompacted garbage depending on the type of refuse. The Agency expects that the price for the units will be prorated based upon the anticipated total purchase.
