Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) The Contractor shall provide and install bypass connection in discharge line including 4-inch camlock fitting and plug valve, 4-inch tapping sleeve and tapping valve, and hot tap the discharge line to the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The City of Chapel Hill will provide and operate bypass pump equipment during the on-site work. 2) The Contractor shall provide and install two 7.5-horsepower submersible sewage pumps with 230 volts, 3 phase, submersible motor, dual seals, 50-foot cord, recessed vortex impeller sized for 80 gallons per minute at 73-foot Total Dynamic Head. 3) The Contractor shall provide and install two cast iron pump base elbows, 4-inch ANSI flange, stainless steel upper guide rail brackets, and stainless-steel pump lifting chains. 4) The Contractor shall provide and install 2-inch stainless steel pipe for pump guide rails. 5) The Contractor shall provide and install one Duplex Pump Control Panel, NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure, phase monitor, pump breakers, control breaker, IEC contactors and overloads, inner door mounted: HOAs, run lights, seal fail lights, over temp lights, elapsed time meters, pump alternator with lead selector switch, pump monitoring relays for moisture and thermals, FOG (fats, oils, and greases) rod for level control, top mounted alarm light with audible buzzer, dry contacts for alarm monitoring. 6) The Contractor shall provide and install 5-foot FOG, conductive probe for level control. 7) The Contractor shall provide and install 4-inch flanged lever and weight check valves to American Water Works Association spec. 8) The Contractor shall provide and install 4-inch mechanical joint, direct bury valves with gear operator. 9) The Contractor shall provide and install new pump base 90’s and rail brackets with stainless steel rail guides. 10) The Contractor shall fabricate and install new 4-inch stainless steel riser pipes in wet well (existing pipe through wet well wall and out to be reused)...
