Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New Canaan Public Schools is soliciting bids for a propane filling station at New Canaan High School consisting of (2) skid-mounted 1,990 gallon auto-propane tanks each with a pump and dispenser nozzle. Each tank must have stairwell access for maintenance purposes. The project is to be turnkey, and per gallon pricing shall include the propane tanks, stairwells, all propane related equipment including pumps and nozzles, as well as installation, maintenance, testing, repairs, removal, and fuel. The two (2) existing tanks and dispenser station are owned by the current supplier, whose contract ends July 3t,2024. ln summary, the following work is requested: 1) Furnish and install two (2) skid-mounted 1,990 gallon auto-propane tanks inside the fenced in area at New Canaan High School. The contractor will submit engineered stamped drawings to the Building Department and Fire Marshall for review and approval and obtain all necessary permits. Drawings must provide the proposed location of the new tanks (with stairwell) and verification that the configuration meets the setback requirements. The contractor shall maintain ownership of the tanks and provide all necessary maintenance, repair, testing, and/or service at no cost to New Canaan Public Schools. 2) Furnish and install a dual bus propane fuel dispenser station. The contractor will furnish and install a dual bus propane fuel dispenser station consisting of one pump and one dispenser nozzle for each tank. Tanks shall be tied together. Each pump shall require an access code to unlock. The contractor shall maintain ownership of the fuel dispenser station and provide all necessary maintenance, repair, and/or service at no charge.
