Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Tools Development and Data Collection – Develop or adapt and use appropriate evaluation tools and research methods in collaboration with program staff. a. Conduct several community landscapes (i.e., a review of the community design for the physical activity landscape, a review of the food service landscape; a review of the food systems landscape; a review of the landscape of trusted messengers, etc.). b. Develop or adapt data collection tools. c. Recruit participants for data collection. d. Conduct data collection. e. Gather relevant data from the program staff. 2. Analysis and Reporting – Prepare reports summarizing successes, challenges, and project status, and addressing specific evaluation questions. a. Analyze collected quantitative and qualitative data. b. Compile evaluation results and prepare a report to include findings, insights, and recommendations. c. Compile status update reports, minimum bi-weekly. d. Compile and prepare a report and presentation of evaluation findings for CDC site visits, as needed. 3. Dissemination of Results – Share insights, common challenges, key lessons learned, and recommendations with the broader program, including the CDC and other grant recipients. a. Assist in the production of at least one (1), one-page report brief for dissemination to the Live Healthy DeKalb Coalition, the CDC, other REACH grant awardees, key stakeholders, and community partners. b. Create at least one abstract for oral or poster presentations at professional conferences and expositions.
