Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project Overview MnDOT requests responses for a Contractor to provide design-build design verification for State Project (SP) 8816-3427 Statewide Pedestrian Bridge Improvement Design-Build project. The Statewide Pedestrian Bridge Improvement project involves various improvements to four pedestrian bridges in several MnDOT Districts; two in Metro and one located in District 1 and District 8. The primary purpose of the project is to upgrade, repair, or replace the ADA facilities and associated structures at four discrete locations to increase their lifespan and make them more accessible to all users. The improvements include bridge demolition and construction, structure rehabilitation, minor grading and paving for trails, retaining walls, clearing and grubbing, and traffic control. The four bridges under consideration are BR 69885/A at the I35/Mesaba Avenue interchange in Duluth (MnDOT District 1), BR 43006 over TH 212 in Glencoe (MnDOT District 8), BR 19025 over TH 52 at Lewis Street (MnDOT Metro District) and BR 62804 over I-35E at United Hospital (MnDOT Metro District).
