Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2” ASPHALT MILLING: (See red area on attached image) Mill entire asphalt surface down to 2” depth. Haul millings off-site. After milling is complete, a USD 260 representative and contractor will inspect the base lift of asphalt to determine if additional repairs/stabilization efforts are needed prior to paving the overlay. 2” ASPHALT OVERLAY: (See red area on attached image) Thoroughly clean the milled surface and apply SS1H tack oil. Pave and compact a 2” hot-mix asphalt overlay on existing base asphalt. Asphalt mix to be used: BM-2 Surface Mix. All workmanship and materials to meet or exceed City of Derby quality and ADA Slope Specifications. STRIPING: 1 LS: Re-stripe all parking areas, drive lanes, and curbs using Sherwin Williams “Hotline” striping paint. Contractor should coordinate with Jeff Ohmes, Supervisor of Grounds for USD 260, prior to painting to ensure accuracy. Striping to match existing layout. Crack Sealing: Blow Out & Seal All Cracks 1/4" Or Larger Using Dura-Fill PL or Crafco 202 Hot-melt Rubberized Crack Sealer. Sealcoating: Thoroughly Clean The Areas To Be Sealed. Apply Action Pave Commercial Sealcoat Over The Entire Asphalt Surface Using A Two-Coat Spray Process. Sealer Shall Include 3 Lbs Of Fine Quarts Sand Per Gallon Of Sealer, 3% Latex Additive, And A 75/25 Concentrated Blend. Asphalt Sealer And Application Rates Shall Meet Or Exceed The Standards Of Federal Specification RP-355E.
