The maintenance, inspection & repair of the Sprinker Ice Rink refrigeration system may include, and is not limited to: A. Replacement of filters. B. Inspection of: o The system for refrigerant leaks o Refrigerant levels o Glycol levels o Overall operational functions o Control circuit operations o All contacts for wear o Compressor oil levels o Voltages and amperages o Super heat o Secondary coolant levels & ratings o Operation of crankcase heaters C. Calibration of all safety controls & over-loads. D. Drain excess/add to compressor oil levels, and compare to added oil posted within log-book. E. Tighten any loose motor/control panel terminals. F. Maintain the pump to include (but not limited to): o Lubrication of pump & motor bearings per manufacturers’ recommendations o Securing all nuts, bolts, motor mounts & vibration pads o Maintain motor operating conditions, electrical connections, contactors, mechanical seals & pump packing G. Maintain the cooling tower to include (but not limited to): o Tower and its components o Fan operations o Belt alignments & tensions o Distribution nozzles on top of the tower o Cleaning of tower basin from all scale & debris, and noting/advising of any abnormal scale/corrosion o Repair the Ice Rink’s refrigeration system as needed
