Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Provide all equipment, labor, materials, supplies, tools, transportation, administration, and supervision necessary for service delivery and pick-up. B. The Contractor shall have an inventory of specialty hoses and fittings for equipment that will be utilized for specialized liquid conveyance applications, such as chemical transfer pumping. C. The Contractor’s employee(s) shall check in and out with the designated City staff when arriving and leaving City sites. D. The Contractor will perform an on-site assessment at the direction of the City to determine the equipment required to meet the City’s needs. E. The Contractor will deliver and pick-up equipment from any City location identified on the purchase order. Delivery includes unloading the equipment at the designated location. Following delivery of the equipment, the Contractor must be able to respond to emergency calls within two hours. F. The Contractor will install or remove equipment, in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements and specifications. G. The Contractor will remove all the waste and scrap generated from their work and ensure the premises are clean to the satisfaction of the City's representative. H. The Contractor will ensure that all engine-driven portable pump fuel tanks are delivered full, and the fuel level is indicated on the delivery ticket. I. The Contractor will refuel engine-driven portable pumps as directed by the City and the Contractor shall place fuel absorbent mats under pumps while refueling. Fuel must be delivered within 24 hours of notification for standard requests and within 2 hours of notification for emergency requests. J. Upon notice by the City, Contractor will repair or replace specified equipment that ceases to function properly during normal use, at no additional cost to the City. K. The Contractor shall carefully examine all exposed pipes, joints, fittings and valves during the installation and delivery of equipment. Under no circumstances shall parts be tightened beyond the specified and allowable torque limits in an attempt to reduce or stop leakage from a defective joint or for any other purpose. L. Remove equipment as scheduled by the City. A written schedule will be provided by City representatives upon contract award. M. After City inspection of any installed or removed equipment, obtain the signature of the designated City representative on the installation/removal verification form indicating the City’s acceptance of the work.
