Specifications include, but are not limited to: Daily Requirement for Restrooms: Wipe outside of toilets and toilet seats with disinfectant and clean wall area behind toilets as well as handicap rails. Scrub inside toilet with disinfectant. Clean and disinfect sink and wall area behind sink. Spot clean remaining walls Clean mirrors with glass cleaners and dust light fixtures. Empty trash and wipe inside and outside of trash receptacles with disinfectant. Refill paper towel and tissue as needed and clean dispenser. Refill soap dispenser as needed and clean dispenser. Sweep or vacuum and wet mop floors with germicidal detergent solution. Wipe doorknobs and both sides of doors leading into restrooms with disinfectant. Wipe and clean stall walls in bathrooms with disinfectant. Daily Requirement for Rest of Facility Clean, disinfect and dry all water fountains to a spot free finish. Sweep or vacuum all uncarpeted areas and wet mop with disinfectant cleaner. All floors must be clean, dirt-free, and trash free. Vacuum high traffic carpeted areas (hallways and waiting area), spot vacuum as necessary. Damp wipe furniture in waiting areas with disinfectant. Empty trash in all offices as well as other areas of building. (Ex. Kitchen, group rooms, etc.) Spray trash receptacles with disinfectant and replace all can liners as needed. Clean all door glass and reception area glass. Disinfect all doorknobs and handles. Clean scales with disinfectant. Spot clean carpet when situations require it. Spot clean walls as needed. Clean and disinfect kitchen counters and tables Clean kitchen sink (if empty) Clean microwaves inside and outside Restock kitchen paper and soap products Weekly Requirements: All carpet shall be vacuumed thoroughly. “Thoroughly vacuumed” is defined as vacuuming all exposed carpet, under chairs, tables, desk, etc. Dust and wipe all file cabinets, bookshelves, wall decoration, chairs, desk, windowsills, horizontal surfaces etc. in all areas of facility. Fabric furniture must be vacuumed, and chair rails disinfected. Clean all other interior glass with window cleaner. Clean door hinges and jambs. Monthly Requirements: Wipe clean and disinfect, frames, over doors, corners, and crevices. Vacuum HVAC vents. Wipe Clean and disinfect refrigerators (Outside Only) Clean and disinfect exterior of appliances. Wipe clean /Dust all mini blinds. Quarterly Requirements: Clean all baseboards. Scrub ceramic floors with tile and grout cleaner. Emergency Janitorial Services: Contractor will confirm and respond within 1 hour of a telephone request, and supply emergency cleaning services on-site to the building(s) covered by this contract. Examples of emergency clean-up requirements may be urine or fecal matter, vomit, human blood, or other body fluids and could include toilet facility clean-up or other problems. Contractor must supply their employee’s telephone number to the Janitorial Contract Monitor to meet this requirement. Miscellaneous Contract Requirements: Contractor is responsible for moving furniture to clean tile or carpet floors. (Ex. Items such as chairs, carts, tables etc.) The Mental Health Center will provide paper towels, bath tissue, garbage bags, and soap for dispensers. Supplies provided by the center are for stall and client use only and are not to be used to clean the facility. Soap dispensers will be furnished by the center and replaced as necessary. Contractor must supply disinfectant, germicidal detergent, vacuum cleaner(s) and all other janitorial supplies and equipment necessary to provide quality janitorial services. When chemicals are transferred from bulk containers to smaller containers, a safety label shall be affixed to the smaller container with the same information as the bulk container. All spray trigger bottlers shall be properly labeled as noted herein. A communications log will be provided by the vendor and placed in an agreed upon location for the purposes of daily comments, and vendor will acknowledge all entries by initialing. Vendor will make same day corrections for requirements not met or done unsatisfactorily. Floor wax will not be specified but must meet slip resistance code. Contractor will clean all rooms that the key provided fits except for the medical records office. Contract will only clean this room if a Center staff member is present. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to coordinate scheduling of cleaning this room. Contractor must use Virex TB or an approved substitute that is known to kill the TB virus for all duties requiring disinfectant except for floors, which will be cleaned with a germicidal detergent solution. Any substitute for Virex TB must be approved by the contract monitor. Bleach products will not be used in this facility.
