Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Minnesota’s Department of Human Services (DHS) requests proposals for Vidyo Software, Hardware, Maintenance, Support, and Training. This platform is primarily used by DHS, Direct Care and Treatment, hospitals, and court facilities throughout the state of Minnesota. DHS has made a significant investment in their existing Vidyo environment that necessitates the continued use of Vidyo support. DHS is seeking solutions to update this existing Vidyo environment, be it on-premises, virtual, or cloud-based. Any proposed Vidyo solution must provide HIPAA compliance, integrate with medical devices, include responsive customer support, and should meet State of Minnesota accessibility standards. DHS’s use cases include mental health and medical health appointments in community health settings, secure-facility settings, Rule 20 hearings, and other appeals-related hearings. DHS serves vulnerable adults, providers, and advocates who rely upon remote conferencing to participate in critical decisions related to care planning. The multi-layered challenges in these settings require a solution that is stable, intuitive for the end-user, and able to reduce or eliminate service interruptions. There are no other solutions that directly integrate with the Vidyo Platform. There are technical and warranty requirements that only manufacturer-certified software will run on the existing infrastructure and be compatible with hardware and software already comprising the Vidyo Platform operated by DHS. Due to these reasons, this is a No Substitute solicitation, so solutions from other brands or manufacturer’s will not be considered under this solicitation.
