Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Del Valle Independent School District is soliciting Requests for Proposal (RFP); Del Valle ISD is using a one step process to secure a Construction Manager At Risk for the district-wide safety, security, access control and renovation projects. The total projected budget for all projects listed above is not to exceed $2,100,000. The District is seeking proposals from firms that are competent, knowledgeable, and possess at least 5 years of experience in safety and security renovations along with experience converting existing access control systems to Genetec access control systems. All subcontractors working for the CMaR must be licensed/certified in Genetec systems. The vendors submitting proposals must be prepared to begin the project in order to meet the substantial completion date. Note that the expected completion date can be modified based on the availability of products, scope of work developed with the architect firm and approval by the District representative authorized to make a change in the completion date. All subcontractors proposed should be experienced contractors and/or direct install vendors to provide services, equipment, demolition, removal of DSX/surveillance systems and the installation of new Genetec systems in designated educational facilities. Potential subcontractors should be licensed/certified for Genetec Systems.
