Specifications include, but are not limited to: OYA is seeking in-person oral interpretation services for monolingual and/or Limited English Proficient youth. The specific goal of these services is to enable OYA to communicate with youth in languages other than English. 2.1 Services. Interpreters shall provide in-person services assisting with staff and youth communication within living units, youth emotional regulation and intelligence groups, and during youth clinical and treatment appointments. Examples of clinical and treatment appointments include, but are not limited to, criminal and addictive thinking, anger management, drug and alcohol, relapse prevention, and co-occurring disorders. 2.1.1 Each interpreter must possess a Health Care Interpreter Certification obtained through the State of Oregon and will be required to provide documentation of certification in response to this RFQ (see Exhibit NO. 1). 2.2 Schedule for Delivery of Services. Services shall be provided in-person at MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility (“MYCF”) located at 2630 N Pacific Highway, Woodburn, OR 97071 or other OYA locations listed in Section 2.2.3. Offeror(s) must have interpreters available to provide Services at minimum from 1 – 7pm, seven (7) days a week. 2.2.1 Offerors must have a minimum of two (2) interpreters available to provide services on-site during the schedule of services identified in Section 2.2. 2.2.2 Additional times and service locations may be needed and will be mutually agreed upon between awarded Offeror(s) and OYA. 2.2.3 OYA facility, camp, and program locations can be found at: https://www.oregon.gov/oya/Pages/facility_services.aspx 2.2.4 All services will be coordinated and authorized by OYA’s Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations (“OIIR”). Awarded Offeror(s) are solely responsible for furnishing all necessary supplies, materials, clothing, transportation, and anything required or appropriate to provide the Services specified above.
