This Contract provides for the demolition and removal of a single-story masonry restroom containing 600 square feet in preparation of a new restroom to be installed later this summer. Said restroom is located at Marshall Park at 1009 E McLoughlin Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98663. Demolition will include the removal of any and all materials within the plumbing chase not identified to be salvaged. Project also includes the relocation of electrical service and irrigation controller from restroom building to a stand-alone electrical enclosure and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Work to be included in bid: • Remove building and all foundation/concrete/base rock as shown in the plans. • Cap water and sewer line, place in utility box to be re-used in a later phase. • Construction of a concrete wall for the enclosure to attach to which will house new electrical and irrigation controls. See plans. • Install new electrical enclosure and components to serve the park. Upon completion of electrical enclosure. The shelter, irrigation components, lighting and other misc. electrical in the park shall be fully functional. • Relocate irrigation controller to enclosure. Mark wires prior to removal to be reconnected to new controller location. Where splicing of wires are required. Use 3m watertight connectors approved for inground use. Install a large Carson Valve Box over all splice locations. • Hydro-seed all disturbed areas. o Minimum of 10 lbs. of seed per 1,000 square feet.
