Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Overall Provider Communication Plan The respondent must specifically describe how an open line of communication and involvement with the Departments of Education and Early Development for all aspects of contract implementation, including administration, and training activities will be created and maintained. The respondent shall develop and implement an overall communication plan to include a system of communication with the state Department of Education and Early Development. 2. Develop and submit written assurances: The respondent must specifically describe with written assurances the following: 2.1. The respondent shall provide a sufficient response to questions and general inquiries made of the State in a timely manner; 2.2. To the extent is applies, the respondent shall abide by Alaska Statutes, Alaska Administrative Code and federal regulations regarding special education and early intervention, and guidelines on the APR/SPP; and 2.3. The respondent will prepare, and present reports associated with, pertaining to and including the APR/SPP within established reasonable timelines. 3. Reporting requirements: The respondent must develop and implement a reporting system approved by the Departments of Education & Early Development and Health and Social Services. The reports shall be submitted in an established format and must include all elements of the APR/SPP. 4. Training Presentations The successful offeror shall conduct annual training presentations. These presentations must occur each fiscal year at each of the following meetings and be one (1) to two (2) hours in length. The meetings occur annually during the fall and winter. Exact dates of the meetings are yet to be determined but will be coordinated with the successful offeror. 5. Evaluation 5.1. Evaluate and track year to year progress; and 5.2. Outline procedures for evaluating both the process and the results of each objective in the APR/SPP reports. System evaluation instruments/procedures to be used should be cited and included in the proposal.
