The City seeks an entity or entities that will accomplish the outcome goals previously described in this RFP. Each proposal should address strategy and approach for implementation of the following scope of work: Consultant The Consultant will assemble a team of professionals with relevant expertise, which may or may not include sub-consultants. The Consultant will be responsible for meeting all project expectations and deliverables without exception. The Consultant will work with the Planning Bureau to establish a primary Project Team within City government and assign clearly defined roles and responsibilities throughout the duration of the project. The Project Team will support the efforts and contract requirements of the Consultant. Please note the Consultant may organize the tasks and work products (described below) in a form and fashion that is most effective for achieving the project vision, in its proposal. Any adjustments would be agreed upon with the City during negotiations before the successful award of the bid. Project Management Excellence in project management will be imperative to ensure the project remains on time and within budget and achieves superior results in all interactions with City staff, community stakeholders, and project deliverables. The Consultant will provide a project work plan, including a clear schedule of meetings, milestones, and resource allocation, plus details of what tools and methods will be used to ensure progress and success. Research and Analysis The Consultant will conduct background research, an existing conditions inventory, and related analyses, while remaining in close collaboration with City staff for guidance and support. The information and findings will contribute to the content of the plan and help guide policy recommendations. Products created should be clear, concise, and visual in nature.
