Maricopa County Human Services Department Homelessness Initiatives Division (MCHSD) is seeking proposals in order to award one or more service providers to provide quick and effective 1) street outreach services and/or 2) flexible funding to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless in Maricopa County (County) through the County’s Hand in Hand program (Program). Services shall be provided in unincorporated areas of the County and in targeted cities and towns of Maricopa County, i.e., Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Gilbert, Goodyear, Peoria, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Sun City, Sun City West, Surprise, Tolleson, Waddell, Wittmann, and Youngtown, with the intent to reduce homelessness in the County’s urban areas. Respondents shall submit separate proposals for the following two services; respondents may choose to provide a proposal for one of the services or two proposals, one for each of the following: 1. Street Outreach: One or more awards will be made, with the intent that all geographic areas identified in the scope of work (SOW) receive services. 2. Flexible Funding: One award will be made to provide services for all geographic areas identified in the SOW.
