The Pennsylvania Walks – Anaconda project is located in the community of Anaconda and consists of new 5-foot-wide sidewalks, an 8-foot-wide asphalt path, new curb and gutter, and replacement of two curb ramps. The new sidewalk will be on the west side of Sycamore St. extending from Park Ave. to Pennsylvania Ave. The sidewalk will continue east along Pennsylvania Ave., tying into an existing sidewalk and trail system at the first entrance on the left into Washoe Park. Roughly 1,100 ft east along Pennsylvania Ave. from the first entrance, the new 8-ft wide asphalt path will connect to existing sidewalk and trail system within the park near the second park entrance, and continue east down Pennsylvania Ave. to the hospital at North Elm St. The 8-ft wide shared-use path will be along the south side of Pennsylvania Avenue. There will be no construction between the two park entrances along Pennsylvania Ave. The project is in Deer Lodge County.
