Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Independent Contractor shall provide professional assistance and support with project field inspections during the construction season on various Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, permit projects, and pavement preservation projects. Including reporting, testing, and documentation on inspection services during the term of the Agreement, when and as requested by the County for specific projects. The County reserves the right to have multiple Independent Contractors under contract to select from to provide such services. 2.2 All the inspectors must have the following qualifications and certifications; American Concrete Institute (ACI), Arizona Technical Testing Institute (ATTI), American Traffic Safety Services Association Traffic Control Supervisor (ATSSA TCS), and Erosion Control Coordinator (ECC). 2.3 The Independent Contractor shall be capable of developing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Facility Pullution Prevention Plans (FPPP) and providing inspections for the SWPPP’s and FPPP’s. These plans may be for CIP projects, permit projects, or County facilities and County maintenance and construction yards. 2.4 All personnel developing the SWPPP’s and FPPP’s must be a licensed engineer in the state of Arizona competent in developing SWPPP’s and FPPP’s or a Certified Environmental Strom Water Compliance Processional (CESCP). 2.5 The Independent Contractor shall prepare, upon request from the County, a Scope of Work for a given project. The Scope of Work shall include estimated number of staff hours by position/discipline for said project as well as fees for anticipated inspections. The inspector(s) shall have their own laptop, vehicle, and inspection equipment.
