Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Collection and Analysis of Existing Information: 1. Bidder must identify and present to KDADS existing or emerging HCBS Final Rule person-centered best practices to train Stakeholders relating to rights, choice, privacy, autonomy, integration, and inclusion. 2. Bidder must examine current trends and person-centered best practices within the HCBS and Long Term Supports and Services field. 3. Bidder must demonstrate methods it will use to gather and present to KDADS information relevant to HCBS Final Rule best practices, innovative training methods, and effective training modules. B. Information Gathering and Reporting: 1. Bidder must provide an outline of training topics, content, and length of training sessions. 2. Bidder must provide a proposed timeline for the implementation of the Kansas HCBS Statewide Tour in 2024. 3. Bidder must meet with and provide a synopsis detailing work completed, progress of training goals, and recommendations to the HCBS Training Specialist at least twice a month. 4. Bidder must track and report training registrants and attendees for each session. 5. Bidder must supply, distribute, collect, and compile an attendee satisfaction survey after each session. C. Project Requirements: 1. Bidder must submit an itemized budget. 2. Successful Bidder must begin implementing the statewide training tour no more than 30 – days after the plan is approved by KDADS. 3. Bidder must submit a proposal that includes registration and facilitation of a statewide training tour across Kansas to guide Stakeholders on person-centered best practice delivery in HCBS residential and nonresidential settings. 4. Bidder must secure locations and ensure sites have the tools, technical equipment, and resources needed to conduct trainings effectively to the target audience. 5. Bidder must oversee and coordinate training days, times, locations, announcements, registration, invites to registrants, training reminders, tracking of training sessions, tracking of attendance, and all other activities needed to accomplish the set goals. 6. Bidder must develop training materials to share with Stakeholders for reference after the tour, which shall include examples on how to implement HCBS person-centered service delivery. a) Bidder must produce outreach materials including Final Rule Fact sheet and Infographic. 7. Bidder must ensure training sessions allow opportunities for interactions, questions, and responses from Stakeholders.
