The work shall consist of concrete pavement repairs. Northbound Lanes 1, 2, and northbound right shoulder shall be completed before work on Lanes 3 and 4. See plan drawing in proposal for Lane number designation. The outside shoulder and first travel lane for both NB & SB I-75 is 10 inches thick and the inside 3 travel lanes and shoulder is 9 inches thick. The pavement repair section will consist of matching the existing left in place concrete depth up to 10”. For areas where existing concrete exceeds 10” in depth, additional aggregate base should be placed and compacted prior to placing concrete. The final repair shall be flush with the existing road surface and will match the existing cross slope. A preconstruction meeting will be required. Concrete patches shall be laid out by Engineer.
