Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bell Gardens (“City”) invites qualified consultants to submit proposals for mental health care coordination services that provide the residents of Bell Gardens access to licensed, behavioral and mental health care providers and social services. The City desires to enter into a 1-year agreement with the option of two additional one-year extensions. The City Recreation and Community Services Department consists of the Community Family Services Center (CFSC), where community members are connected to essential services and resources. The CFSC provides those in need with rental and utility assistance, food assistance programs and a food pantry, social service referrals, senior services, consumer action services and homeless prevention services. In addition to the services already provided, the City is now looking to add coordination services that help connect residents to mental and behavioral health resources.
