Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and traffic control to remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, curb inlet frames and grates prior to commencing work on the Mill and Fill and Overlay portion of the project. Construct new ADA compliant sidewalk, curb and gutter and inlet structures according to the MDT provided plans and MDT Standard Specifications. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and traffic control to cold mill approximately 26,600 square yards of roadway at a depth of .20” as directed by MDT’s Project Manager. The Contractor is responsible for hauling and disposal of the generated cold millings. Contractor may be responsible for adjusting 5 manhole structures as directed by the MDT Project Manager following cold milling operations and prior to the Overlay portion of the contract as determined by the MDT Project Manager. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and traffic control necessary to produce, haul, place, tack and compact approximately 3,520 tons of 1/2” Commercial Plant Mix Grade S 70-28 asphalt mix material. The overlay shall be paved .20 feet thick and approximately 45 feet wide. Contractor is responsible for identifying centerline prior to paving and must use an identifiable method to maintain consistent centerline control (i.e., Stringline or Paint) with approval from MDT’s Project Manager when paving. Contractor is responsible for test trailer, transport, and setup. If the Department decides to perform testing at an area lab, this bid item will be deleted from the contract. The quantity is estimated and will be changed accordingly depending on pickup and delivery locations and miles transported. An Aquatic Resource Monitor (ARM) is required and is referenced in the special provisions. The Department will provide interim and final striping. Contractor shall be responsible for all private property damage claims resulting from performance of the tasks described above.
