Specifications include, but are not limited to: A project sign is to be installed in a prominent and accessible location at the project work site to inform the public of project activity. The back of the project sign may be used to post required notices outlined in the Federal Labor Standards. The project sign is to be maintained in good condition, visible to the public and workers, throughout the entire construction period. Project Sign is intended to be temporary and removed upon project completion. Project sign may be used to incorporate other partner logos upon approval by Kent County. Determining Number of Project Signs: At least one project sign is necessary for each work site. When project activity is conducted at separate locations more than 660 feet (1/8 mile) apart, one project sign is necessary at each location. Multiple project signs are necessary at larger work sites that have road frontage of more than 200 feet, or an area larger than 21,780 square feet (1/2 acre). One project sign is required for each 1/2 acre or for every 200 feet of road frontage. Project signs should be installed no closer than 100 feet apart. Installation: Durable installation methods and materials shall be used to provide stability against wind and other elements. Required Federal Postings: Required postings can be printed on or securely fastened to the reverse side of project sign.
