Specifications include, but are not limited to: Perform turfgrass removal at identified parks. A. Upon receiving official notification that a contract has been approved by the City, the account manager shall conduct a site inspection with the Contract Supervisor to review the prioritized turfgrass reduction parks for pre-existing conditions of park amenities, existing plant palette and plant health, and any utility conflicts. The Contractor shall prepare a list of specific items found at each prioritized park and perform photo documentation, both shall be submitted to the City for review before a notice to proceed will be issued. The City will evaluate each problem listed to determine if repair work is warranted prior to starting the project. The contractor will schedule a project scope walk with the Contract Supervisor and any other City representatives to develop the park specific project scope and design elements. The scope walk should include, but not limited to, discussions about the following items: a. Ingress and Egress b. Schedule and Site Security c. Protection of existing assets; amenities, signage, sidewalks, trees, fencing, etc. d. Mark areas for turfgrass removal and process for removal e. Identify any irrigation modifications that may occur f. Design of new xeric landscape; plant and tree species “Right Tree, Right Place”, groundcover materials, irrigation modifications, soil modifications, etc...
