Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. MODEL: Multi axle truck scale to be installed on concrete deck (70 feet by 11 feet wide). Must have digital indicator and be compatible for integration with the existing Weight in Motion system. 2. WEIGHT CAPACITY: 100 Tons 3. SHIPPING: Cost from factory to Sand Island facility on Sand Island Access Road on Oahu, Hawaii. 4. INSTALLATION: Installation of the new scale (including any hardware). The selected contractor and subcontractors shall possess the proper licenses, facilities, equipment, and experience to perform the work in the IFB. 5. SCALE REMOVAL/DISPOSAL: Removal and disposal costs for the existing scale. 6. FOUNDATION: Any modifications, if needed, to the existing truck scale foundation. Any improvements including additional width and underground utilities. 7. CALIBRATION/CERTIFCATION: Must pass certified test weights of 26,000 pounds (dead weight) and 32,000 pounds (sectional test). 8. TESTING: The scale must pass a final stress test with more than 80,000 pounds. 9. TRAINING: On-site training is required 9. COMPLETION: The scale needs to be operational by June 30, 2024. The contractor shall provide equipment/system documentation for maintenance/replacement purposes.
