Specifications include, but are not limited to: A full trip test shall be performed on all dry sprinkler systems annually. The inspections will be done in accordance with current adopted State and Local Fire Codes, National Standards and Manufactures Specifications. Documentation shall be filled out for each system and forwarded to the local Fire Marshall’s Office, with a copy to the City’s Facilities Division Manager within two weeks of the annual inspection. Documentation must meet minimum requirements per the specific NFPA Standard. A copy of the inspection form shall be left at the controls for the sprinkler system. Buildings shall be inspected for compliance with the requirements of NFPA Standard 13, 2007; Edition, NFPA Standard 12,2000 Edition; 13,1999 Edition; 14,2000 Edition and 25, 1998 Edition, regardless of weather required for annual inspections. Inspections will be required with regards not only to those items required for annual inspection, but also to any deficiencies in the system from current code or requirements, and encumbrances to the system from building fixtures or tenant furnishings. The City reserves the right to add or delete the various City locations throughout the term of the contract.
