Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of the IPR community-police mediation program is to allow parties to resolve their complaints constructively, increase mutual understanding and respect, improve community-police relations and reduce the risk of future conflicts. The objective of the facilitated community forums and dialogues is to encourage the community to share their experiences with law enforcement and community safety. These forums may be specific in nature to a current issue or broader in scope. Dialogues may be targeted to engage a specific community or may be broader in scope. Mediations between Citizen Review Committee members would be conducted only at the request of the members and aimed at resolving conflict to encourage a more positive working relationship. The City of Portland is seeking proposals from individuals, firms, teams or consultants with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following service categories to perform work on asneeded basis: A. Mediation Services B. Facilitation Services.
