Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Collaborate with City representatives on advertising plan and strategies. • Compose an advertisement and information packet to attract and inform a diverse and qualified pool of potential applicants that includes, minimum requirements: o Application fee/hardship information o Process deadlines for submitting an application and required documentaton o An outline explaining all the elements of the testing process o All relevant testing process dates including but not limited to: study/practice materials, written exam, oral board interviews, preference points, CPAT exam dates/locatoins, and eligiblity lists creations. • Provide stellar customer service and ommunication with applicants at each evaluation step through email, telephone, including but not limited to: o Online application process questions o Eligibility to test o Anticipated preference points documents o Written exam dates/times o Second chance notification o Pass or fail (above or below minimum score as set by the City of Champaign Board of Fire and Police Commission) notifications o In-person oral interview scheduled dates/times o Preference points document review o Initial eligibility list o Final eligibility list
