The system should be easy to use and maintain and should have the flexibility to provide a clear migration path to future technologies and upgrades. 4.4 FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS All specifications are minimum requirements. Any exceptions must be explained in detail. The following sections, 4.5 through 4.20, include the requirements for the base bid RFP/Master agreement of the VoIP Telephony System. 4.5 REDUNDANCY AND POWER REQUIREMENTS - The proposed VoIP Telephony System must have redundancy within the proposed system memory and other critical components. The system will be AC powered and will require a 60-minute UPS system where stated in the Location Specification document. Specify AC power requirements. 4.5.1 Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS): Bidder is to provide a 60 minute UPS, where indicated. All ancillary equipment necessary to support the proposed system must plug into the UPS system. The UPS system is to be surge suppressed and fused to protect downstream equipment.
