Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Valley Academic and Cultural Center (VACC) is a new, Theater and Classroom Building for the Performing and Media Arts Program at Los Angeles Valley College. The approximately one hundred eighteen thousand (118,000) gross square feet facility is a two (2) story concrete and steel structure with a partial basement. The building has been mostly completed, except for miscellaneous items that are required for occupancy, including code required work (ADA, FLS, Structural), audio visual installation, theatrical lighting and miscellaneous finishes. The District is seeking a qualified Contractor to complete the project, by assessing the remaining scope and determining the best way to reach occupancy through strong subcontractor and trades coordination, and efficient material procurement management. Contractor will be expected to work double shifts to accommodate the accelerated construction schedule.
