Specifications include, but are not limited to: scheduled flights to and from Beluga for cargo and from 2 - 18 passengers; transportation of personnel and equipment for other operational and project related activities; and unscheduled ad hoc flight service for cargo and up to 9 passengers. The Beluga airport (FAA identifier BLG) has two gravel runways with pilot-controlled lighting. Runway 18/36 (FAA 01/19) is approximately 5,000 x 100 ft; runway 9/27 (FAA 10/28) is approximately 2,400 x 60 ft. Proposers are encouraged to review the Airport Facility Directory in the Alaska Supplement for additional runway data. There are no published instrument procedures; however, a Hilcorp private GPS approach to 19/01 has been developed.
