Kiln Supply: • The selected vendor shall provide kilns suitable for campus use. • Kilns must meet the following specifications: a. Type: Ceramic Kiln. b. Capacity: Large capacity kilns to accommodate a school environment, that also takes into consideration ease of loading and unloading. A kiln model that is durable and will allow for multiple operators. c. Power Supply: Kiln must be specific to the electrical service of the building, with verification regarding voltage amperage, and phase. Parts Supply: • Provide a comprehensive list of kiln parts required for regular maintenance and potential repairs. • Parts must be compatible with the specified kilns and meet industry standards. Maintenance Services: • Develop and implement a regular maintenance schedule for all kilns. • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity. • Provide campus/location with detailed maintenance reports after each service. Repair Services: • Establish a protocol for responding to repair requests promptly. • Specify the maximum allowable downtime for repairs. • Guarantee the availability of replacement parts for common issues. Emergency Repairs: • Maintain a 24/7 hotline for emergency repair requests. • Commit to a guaranteed response time for emergency repairs. • Outline the procedures for addressing urgent repair needs.
