Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide a work plan and schedule of the project. 2. Work with designated Airport staff on reviewing the report and seek approval from the Airport at each milestone of the project prior to moving forward; 3. Collect and compile current and accurate economic and financial data related to the Airport; 4. Develop a comprehensive economic impact report that, at a minimum, encompasses the following: a. Purpose and methodology of economic impact analysis; b. Summary of businesses and activities at the Airport; c. Calculations and analysis of direct, indirect, and induced impacts; d. Comprehensible economic and financial statistics; e. Economic Impact of the Airport to the City of Long Beach; f. Economic Impact of the Airport to the region; g. Analysis of the tax revenues h. List of tables, charts, figures, data sources, etc. used; i. Summary of visitor spending j. Quantify the economic impact into various categories such as general aviation activities, commercial travel, non-aeronautical businesses, space, or tourism. 5. Generate visual summary documents or contents for such documents that highlight key statistics and information. This may include, but is not limited to, a one-page infographic sheet, a brochure, a pamphlet, etc. The results of this study will serve as a foundation for communication with the general public, media, stakeholders, City management, and elected officials to provide an understanding of the role of the Airport in our economy. The accuracy and quality of data is crucial to producing a valid report. As such, this project may require contractors to conduct surveys or outreach to existing businesses and tenants at the Airport and surrounding area for primary source data. The contractor may also need to work with Airport staff to collect financial and operational data related to the Airport. Contractors must also pull data from reliable and credible sources/databases.
