Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Review of existing documentation, reports, consumption data, etc., including pre and post installation measurement and verification (“M&V”) for the first three years post installation. 2. Visual inspection to confirm existing site conditions. 3. Prepare lighting replacement plans for submission to and review by Eversource for device compliance and acceptance as acceptable efficiency measures. Any proposed lighting fixture shall be Eversource Tier 2 compliant (fixtures and controls) meeting or exceeding IES Standard light levels, appearing on the DLC Qualified Products List, with not less than ten-year product warranty, falling within the Eversource 2024 Existing Buildings Cap Sheet for Enhanced Performance Lighting (e.g. Acuity or Lithonia). Replacement plan must be approved by the municipality prior to any submission to Eversource. It is expected that the results of any proposed deployment fall within 10% of estimated energy savings, as confirmed through M&V pre and post installation, in accordance with PURA MV standards. Proposals shall include a performance guarantee to ensure that proposed savings are actualized. Any savings not realized through M&V pre and post installation shall result in the selected firm reimbursing Bristol for lost value of energy savings over a five (5) year period. 4. Obtain written acceptance of plan by Eversource, which shall include Eversource’s acceptance of responsibility to pay for implementation of improvements on behalf of the municipality. 5. Coordinate and facilitate development of a financing agreement between the municipality and Eversource, within which the municipality compensates Eversource for installed improvements via loan payments added to monthly utility billing, for not greater than a six year term. 6. Secure building permits for performance of the work (be advised that the City does not waive permit fees for these projects). 7. Perform all energy conservation measures outlined in the accepted submission, inclusive of all programming of integrated controls. provide one year workmanship warranty. Secure acceptance of performed work by Eversource and by the Building Department. 8. Provide training to municipal staff on integrated controls. 9. Coordinate replacement of any installed fixtures during the life of the product warranty.
