Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Gettysburg Regional Airport Construct South Apron Phase VI project is a site improvements project. The project consists of the construction and grading of the taxiway extending from the southeastern paved taxiway to the runway in the southwest corner of the property. The contractor will also extend the existing construction access road to the southern end of the site away from the newly paved apron and taxiway. Excess material excavated from this area will be exported off the project site. Stormwater facilities including a stormwater retention basin and stormwater conveyance system to be constructed with the project. This conveyance system includes inlets, drainage pipe, rip-rap aprons, and channel construction. Erosion and sedimentation control facilities will be installed for the project to control sediment and the entire disturbed area will be seed and mulched to prepare for future phases of construction. Any wetlands near the project area will be fenced off and not directly impacted by construction other than what is specifically shown on the plans.
