Establish a Contract of retirement benefit administration platform to provide a system database to house employee pension data and prepare estimates and calculations. The consultant must provide, the following services for both DFW Pension plans, the defined benefit plan for general employees and DPS employees: • Provide technical and advisory consultation services to the Human Resources department. This consultation includes industry trends, research support, evaluation of processes, documentation review and record keeping for defined benefit plans. • Supplier hosted software that complies with DFW’s plan design and performs all pension administration tasks including; calculation of estimates, calculation of final payment, calculation and withholding of tax elections, beneficiary designation, and other administrative tasks (detailed list attached). • Prepare benefit calculations for plan participants who are exploring retirement or are exercising a retirement benefit. Also, prepare benefit calculations for terminated employees who are vested in the plan. • Track and support alternate payees and/or beneficiaries of deceased eligible employees.
