Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of services shall be to provide the appropriate level of coverage to operate the lower and upper lakes. The upper lake will host a WiBit (recreation equipment that consists of floating, inflatable pieces that can be arranged to fit any open water area due to its modular construction capability) recreation water attraction. Over the past few years this attraction has become quite popular, therefore the Parks and Recreation Dept. is expecting elevated attendance. The swim season generally occurs between Memorial Day and Labor Day. During this time, Darlington will operate as a general admission facility; this location will host individuals, group outings, and day camp groups. While a general schedule of operating days is being identified, Parks reserves the right to close or open either lake to the general public at any time. The vendor and Parks staff shall meet regularly for the purposes of coordinating facility needs and operating schedules.
