Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will be responsible for: ● Facilitating the development of a long-term strategic vision and the 2025-2030 strategic plan. ● Conducting research and benchmarking. ● Engaging diverse stakeholders via various approaches, modes and multiple languages, including students, parents, staff, and community members. ● Providing innovative strategies for district improvement and growth. ● Integrating technology and best practices in education. ● Ensuring the strategic plan promotes equity, inclusivity and belonging. ● Including the following elements for the long-term strategic vision and 2025-2030 strategic plan: ○ Captures student voices meaningfully. ○ Includes parents, community members, and other stakeholders. ○ Prioritizes inclusivity and belonging work with a focus on student success. ○ Describes a successful learner and emphasizes college, career, and life readiness. ○ Communicates the U-46 values and beliefs. ○ Structures systems of accountability. ○ Responds in a manner that is actionable, responsive, and flexible. ○ Tells the U-46 story. ○ Recommends an accountability and data tracking structure that allows us to evaluate our return on strategic investments. ○ Builds a reporting structure/dashboard that allows stakeholders to easily understand and follow our annual strategic goals and progress toward them. ○ Coaches Cabinet Members on best practices and ways to be more effective in our work as it pertains to communicating goals and objectives. ● Deliverables shall include: ○ Needs Assessment. ○ Interim reports including: Assessment of Representative Stakeholders’ Input, and Perspectives and Preliminary Report ○ Communications and marketing materials for the finished plan, including a webpage built in partnership with the U-46 School and Community Relations team. ○ Final report, long-term vision, and 2025-2030 strategic plan.
