Specifications include, but are not limited to: Oregon State Penitentiary Boiler Plant has existing four-inch-thick concrete floors that have settled around boiler foundations that are set on bedrock and caused trip hazards in all areas of the boiler plant. This project will provide restoration to the existing concrete floors. This project includes dustless concrete surface prep, epoxy primer for bonding cementitious self-leveling to eliminate trip hazards from settled concrete slabs surrounding supported footings for boilers and other equipment, contractor to provide application of epoxy primer, cementitious self-leveler, and a base coat and top coat of resinous epoxy coatings throughout the main floor level of the building at an estimated 7500sqft to include the Main Floor, Main Floor Bathroom, Mop Room including floor sink, Tool Room, contractor to verify total square footage at the time of bid. Contractor will accommodate 24hr boiler plant operations and minimize impact to the Institution; boiler plant shutdowns are only allowed with Owners prior approval and will only be allowed between the hours of 3pm and 7am. Owner to provide MEP only.
