For the next generation sequencing laboratory, we require an electrophoresis instrument to check the quality of genomic DNA, PCR products, RNA, and next generation sequencing libraries. The capillary-based system should have the following features: 1. System should be able to process up to 96 samples without manual intervention. 2. System should also support multiple injection for same sample and allow modification of injection time. 3. Resolution should be as low as 3bp (gel dependent). 4. System should be able to automatically calculate integrity/quality score of RNA/DNA/FFPE DNA, including the concentrations of samples. 5. Specific quality metrics should include the determination of the 28S/18S ratio, concentration, and quality of total RNA, and the quality of cRNA/cDNA and fragmented RNA/DNA. 6. The system should support multiple applications like NGS library assessment, genomic DNA, large DNA fragments smear up to 50,000bp, total RNA, and PCR fragment analysis. 7. Reports generated should be exportable in PDF or CSV formats. Accessories: 1. The manufacturer should provide a suitable computer/laptop with the software’s installed to run fragment analyzer system. 2. Operation, service, and maintenance manuals to be supplied along with the system.
