Specifications include, but are not limited to: Product types considered in scope of this SWC: 1. Light Bars: These are prominent light assemblies mounted on the roof of the emergency response vehicles. Light bars typically consist of multiple flashing or rotating lights, such as LED or strobe lights, to provide high visibility and indicate the presence of an emergency vehicle. Emergency vehicles are required to have specific lighting configurations, including red and blue lights for law enforcement vehicle, and various combinations of red, white, and amber lights for other emergency services. These lights should be visible from long distances and must no cause excessive glare for other drivers. 2. Sirens and Horns: Emergency vehicles are equipped with sirens and horns that are designed to be audible and easily distinguishable from other vehicle sounds These can include electronic sirens, air horns, or a combination of both. There may be specific regulations regarding siren volume, tone, and usage. 3. Spotlights and Floodlights: Emergency response vehicles often have powerful spotlights or floodlights mounted on them to provide enhanced visibility in lowlight conditions or at the scene of an incident. 4. Grille Lights: These lights are installed on the front grille of vehicles and are used to increase visibility from the front of the vehicle. They can be steady lights or flashing lights. 5. Dash Lights: Dash lights are compact lighting units that are mounted on the dashboard, windshield, or rear window of emergency response vehicles. They provide additional warning lights to increase visibility from the front and rear of the vehicle.
