The purpose of this bid is to establish the rates on a Time and Materials basis to provide services including but not limited to the installation, repairs, replacement and maintenance services to electrical systems at various locations within the Riverhead Central School District in Riverhead, NY. The awarded contractor will provide such labor, supervision, equipment, supplies and materials as directed by the school district for electrical services on an “On Call” basis at the fixed hourly bid rate. Work shall include but not limited to high voltage, low voltage, uninterruptable power supply systems, automatic transfer switches, variable frequency drives, emergency generators, switchgear, exterior lighting, parking lot lighting, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacement of existing electrical systems. Work may include installation of new electrical systems. The award of this contract does not grant the contractor exclusive rights to all work. The District reserves the right to individually bid any job if it is determined to be in the best interest of the District.
