Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority (SFAA) Division of Procurement Services (DPS) Office of State Procurement to solicit bids on behalf of Francis Marion University (FMU) for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Operation, Maintenance and Repair Service in accordance with all requirements stated herein. 1.1 Purpose Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to provide HVAC maintenance services as specified herein. The purpose of this contract is to secure for the University expert operation, maintenance and repair service for all components of: 1. all heating and cooling systems 2. certain ventilating systems listed or described herein 3. other equipment and systems listed or described herein. The Contractor shall perform all services explicitly or implicitly required hereby and must act in the best interests of the University in performing these services. The services require that the included systems and equipment be kept in fine-tuned, reliable operating condition, through appropriate preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and adjustments, so that they work as efficiently, effectively, and automatically as practicable; and that the Contractor act responsively when any repair or adjustment is needed. Contractor agrees to allow the inspection of its facilities by personnel of the University if requested.
